Your contribution:
- Designing data models and guiding external vendors for DWH integrations, acting as a gatekeeper for best practice solutions
- Leading Data Governance and Data Management initiatives from the IT side
- Gathering knowledge about the data landscape across systems (beyond DWH) and proactively proposing areas of synergies/integrations to fulfill business analytics needs
- Coordinating and managing activities of the DWH & Analytics support team
- Delivering business-relevant reports & dashboards in alignment with best practices and user-friendliness
- Continuously improving Data Quality, KPIs and processes
What makes you stand out:
- A successfully completed university engineering degree (Bachelor/Master) in information technology, software engineering, computer science, engineering or Business Administration with a strong IT background or a comparable professional experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience using databases and data warehouses, including at least 2 years using different cloud services (e.g., Database/Data Warehouse, Storage, Cloud Functions, Compute engines) with a good understanding of programming languages (Python or Java, SQL)
- At least 2 years of experience developing BI Solutions, preferably Qlik
- Extensive professional experience in distributed, multinational and complex organizations
- Fluent German (C1) and English (C1) skills written and spoken
