How our program works

Clear framework. Flexible content.

While the program grows with you, we provide a reliable structure to ensure orientation and support. This includes:

  • 2-year program (fixed term contract) with dedicated involvement of our ExCo Team

    • Rotations and projects across relevant business areas, including:

    • Cross-department rotation based on your own interests and department needs to broaden your VT expertise

  • Cross-market rotation for an international experience

  • Dedicated HR contact and mentoring support

  • Regular feedback and development check-ins to ensure a long-term journey at Vantage Towers

Within this framework, you have the freedom to shape your individual journey.

Commercial

Commercial translates market needs into customer‑focused solutions, driving growth through strong partnerships, smart offerings, and commercial excellence.

Finance

Finance shapes strategic decisions by transforming data into insights that strengthen our growth, competitiveness, and long‑term value creation.

Information Technology

IT builds the digital backbone of Vantage Towers, powering secure, scalable and innovative systems that keep our business moving forward.

Human Resources

HR builds the people foundation of our business, fostering an inclusive, supportive environment where talent grows and future leaders emerge.

Technology

Technology drives the evolution of our digital infrastructure, enabling the connectivity of tomorrow through smart, sustainable, and future‑ready tower solutions.

The Application Process

Step 1
Your online application

Please apply online to the trainee position of your interest and submit your CV as well as relevant certificates.

Step 2
Online Assessment

You will receive an invitation to do an online assessment.

Step 3
HR phone interview

You will have a short phone call with one of our HR colleagues for a personal get to know and alignment on the next steps.

Step 4
Virtual Assessment Day

You will be invited to a virtual assessment day, which will take place in May/June 2026. On this day you will get to know us as a company and potential future colleagues and stakeholders.

Step 5
ExCo Interview

As our ExCo members will take the major responsibility of your trainee program, you will get to know them at the last step our our process.

Step 6
Decision

You will receive feedback from us and if all of our assessors are aligned, you will receive a written offer for the trainee position.

Step 7
Start & Onboarding

Congratulations! You will start as a Global Trainee at Vantage Towers in October 2026. The Onboarding will take place in Düsseldorf for all trainees.

What happens after my application?

You will receive a confirmation mail and you will hear from us within 14 days. The rest of the process is explained in the section "Application Process".

Who can apply?

Our Trainee positions should attract recent graduates, but for us, talent matters – not background. We welcome applications from everyone, regardless of age, gender, cultural background, disability, or sexual identity. Diversity makes us stronger, and we value every individual who enriches our team.

From where can I apply?

We welcome application from everywhere, but please keep in mind that we expect you to be present in the office of the location our trainee jobs are published for. Our program is built around personal exchange and not just virtual interaction.

Which locations will be available for the cross-market location?

We can offer several locations for the cross-market rotation throughout our European-markets: Düsseldorf, Madrid, Lissabon, Budapest or Athens.

Will there be enough structure to support my development?

Yes. While the content of the program is co-created with our trainees, the overall framework, mentoring setup and development checkpoints are clearly defined. This combination ensures both orientation and creative freedom.

What happens after the program?

You will have a fixed term contract from the beginning, but our overall goal is to find a permanent position for you afterwards, where you can continue your growth.
