The O&M Manager is responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the telecommunication passive infrastructure of Vantage Towers sites in Romania.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the service levels stipulated in the maintenance contracts signed with our customers and suppliers/contractors. At the same time, the O&M Manager must ensure the SLAs defined in the maintenance contracts signed with our customers, coordinated with the Contract Managers and supporting them to maintain a regular working and monitoring relationship with all of them to improve the service continuously.
- Responsible for the Capex and Opex budget associated with the operation & maintenance activity, preparing the annual plans and budgets based on the detected needs of the network and our clients.
- Cooperate with the Vantage Tower TopCo departments in the elaboration of the strategy and evolution of the maintenance of our network facing new technological advances, or new business’s needs.
- Responsible for carrying out evaluation projects and selecting suppliers for preventive / corrective maintenance activities and for building and checking the lists of materials necessary to carry out the above activities.
- Responsible for defining standards/best practices in preventive/corrective and incidental maintenance activities.
- Supervise the correct operation of the Vantage Towers Tower Operations Center (TOC), ensuring compliance with the contract and stipulated SLAs.
- Supervise the correct operation of the access platform to the Vantage Towers sites, managing that the approved protocols and procedures are followed and complied with.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of all the procedures and standards associated with the basic O&M department to carry out its activity.
- Guarantee the H&S compliance for all the vendors and suppliers.
- Preparation and annual monitoring of the professional development plan for O&M team members.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in technology in O&M positions, preferably with vendor and customers interaction
- At least 3 years of valuable professional experience in managing teams
- University Degree, preferably in Engineering (Telecommunications, Civil works…)
