Your Responsibilities:
- International Standardization & Infrastructure Design: You drive the cross-market standardization of electrical and cooling solutions, developing technical guidelines for AC/DC power distribution, grid integration, and lightning protection systems.
- Technical Guidance & Advisory: You act as a senior expert supporting regional delivery organizations, offering specialized engineering insights to guarantee site functionality, safety, and reliability.
- Modernization & Technological Innovation: You lead energy modernization initiatives, implementing innovative technologies such as 400V DC and advanced power calculation tools to optimize site efficiency.
- Lifecycle & Vendor Management: You oversee the complete electrical infrastructure lifecycle—from initial survey to final acceptance—collaborating with suppliers on RFQs, technical specifications, and bills of materials.
- Compliance & Strategic Governance: You enforce full alignment with technical norms and regulatory standards while preparing strategic decision memos for executive leadership and cross-divisional boards.
Your Profile:
- Educational Background: University degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Professional Experience: Extensive background in telecom power infrastructure, with proven expertise in AC/DC power systems, cooling solutions, and off-grid hybrid setups.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of electrical norms, technical regulations, and surge/lightning protection; strong ability to analyze and optimize existing infrastructure for cost efficiency.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional project leadership, systematic problem-solving capabilities, high flexibility, and a results-oriented approach in high-pressure environments.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent written and spoken German and English skills (at least C1 level required).
At Vantage Towers, we operate in 8 different European countries. This role will be based in Düsseldorf.
