Your contribution:
- Manage procedures and controls within the area of financial accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Technical accounting (IFRS) for the group and its subsidiaries, including preparation and leadership on technical accounting papers with the group’s auditors
- Maintaining and continuously improving the group accounting policies, governance processes, and documentation
- Technical guidance and decision-making into routine journals required during the period end process such as month end accruals, provisions, deferrals, and other adjustments; as well as providing guidance on non-routine transactions
- Preparation of group consolidated financial statements and annual reports (including management of the consolidated and standalone results for group holding entities)
- Support the internal and external audits of Vantage Towers consolidated financial statements
What makes you stand out:
- 5 years+ relevant professional experience, experience working at Big4 accounting & audit firms an advantage
- Expert knowledge of IFRS and preferably with application to Telecommunications / Infrastructure / Leasing business/Financial instruments and hedging
- Experience of S4 SAP reporting and consolidation processes advantageous
- Strong financial skills with passion for effective control environment
- Proficient English language is a critical requirement to communicate with auditors, shareholders and finance teams across all markets; German language proficiency advantageous
