We are looking for a Technology Strategy & Innovation Specialist, based in Athens -Greece.
You will be leading Technology Strategy and Innovation department's activities, in order to deliver Technology Products & Services Roadmap, as well as, to improve current technical solutions and drive results across Product description, definition, implementation, integration and validation.
- Propose preliminary DAS/RF solutions
- Participate in site surveys to assure deployment feasibility
- Interact with local suppliers
- Follow up on existing deployments and provide technical support
- Organize Network & Solution projects. Ensure process compliant implementation. Create & support business cases & budget planning
- Lead, organize and control TSI (Technical Site Solutions) activities, focusing on capacity, resilience, quality optimization and life cycle
- Align, validate & challenge TSI deliverables and requirements, in order to deliver in-time and on-budget solutions, following the Vantage Τowers' Services and Products roadmap, covering local markets demand
- Augment automation platforms according to market needs, ensuring processes and technical capabilities alignment with Networks as a Platform concept
- Lead and coordinate technical local markets demands
- Technical interfere for MNO Tech departments (GNED or TSA in VF as an example)
- Mediate between Commercial teams and local markets and feed both with innovative ideas on technology/service roadmaps & evolution
- Develop process to achieve and secure Global Harmonization, one of the key pillars for Technical Strategy
- Interfere between the TopCo central team and the Greek market, provide support to the sales team, pre-design DAS solutions and assure technical feasibility
- University degree in the areas of telecommunication, electrical engineering or information technology
- Min. 3 yrs. experience in development of fixed net, mobile network and network services, in indoor or outdoor radio design or deployment: active/passive DAS and repeaters, macro sites
- High level of expertise and specific knowledge in RRSS, DAS, Radio Infrastructure building process (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, Antennas, Passive element, Small cells, DAS and indoor solutions)
- Experience with large multi-vendor Radio and Transmission Networks Technologies
- On field experience doing commissioning or integration activities
- Experienced in working in versatile and virtual teams, complex projects / programs, interface with cross country clients and managing budget
- Conceptual & analytical thinking. Able to challenge given solutions and capitalize on innovation opportunities
- Ability to prepare documentation materials to communicate properly the technical information
- Fluency in English (writing & reading)
