The role is supposed to lead SCM operations in one Vantage Tower market(s) –across all the EU geographies to drive the central strategy, engagements, business objectives in a standardised manner. Goal is to be the single spoc for the market(s) requirements wrt projects, governance, suppliers, internal stakeholders, LM senior management expectations, to ensure control & timeliness of all the projects in a homogenous manner across.
Main Responsabilities- Be the central business partner for a local entity / cluster for all local SCM related topics
- Effectively manage supply chain activities in the local market / cluster in close cooperation with central category management team
- Responsible for operationally managing all the Network related spend for all categories spend for one or more Vantage Towers markets
- Ensure cost effective coverage of demand in local entity / cluster
- Ensure sufficient supply for local entity / cluster
- Manage supplier landscape & drive organizations goals by help implementing category specific strategy plans every year
- Ensure all the market - stakeholders are regularly interacted with, their requirements closed timely
- Drive Supplier Relationship Management with key 40 Network suppliers in each market across all VT markets
- Support the central Vantage SCM & VPC SCM teams in complex and high value negotiations as well as lead local tactical negotiations
- Keep track and close all actions required to complete purchasing related contracts, corresponding documents and activities
- Build sustainable relationship within the Vantage Tower Group as well as markets, advise them on sourcing questions and purchasing processes
- Continuous question the status quo and identify opportunities how to improve our purchasing processes and governance
- Identify opportunities to increase capacities of existing suppliers along with identifying new relevant suppliers
- A successful university degree in business management, engineering or other relevant areas
- At least 6 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management preferably Network/Technology
- Or 8+ years of experience in managing projects/supplier management in Telecom Sector, Tower industries in western Europe.
- Good understanding of procedures, categories and ways of working within SCM, including stakeholder mapping, category strategy and tools.
- Strong customer orientation and a high sense of responsibility
- Knowledge of SAP – MM, FI modules and ARIBA
- Very Good negotiation skills in English and local language (written & spoken – C1 according to CEFR)
- Concrete SCM working experience in an international environment – technology domain must
- Eagerness to learn & grow; take additional responsibilities
- Self driven, motivated & focussed to drive engagements in complex, unclear environment
