Role Purpose:
As part of the Legal team based in Spain, the main activities, among others will be:
-Draft/review/negotiate agreements with suppliers and main clients.
-Provide pragmatic and commercial Legal advice and identify Legal & Compliance risks and coordinate effort with all the business unit and other companies within the Group.
-Liase with external counsel and relevant authorities.
-Work in special commercial/corporate projects as requested.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Draft and review and negotiate agreements with main clients aligned with the Company's strategies.
• Draft and review according Spanish laws agreements with vendors aligned with the Group Company's strategies.
• Provide legal guidance to all the business unit.
• Coordination and implementation of Group Company´s policies.
• Coordinate external lawyers in litigation topics.
• Liase with Courts, Public Notary, Companies Register, among others.
• Participate in working groups together with colleagues from other countries from other Group companies with the aim of implementing common projects and identifying and implementing best practices.
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
• Law Degree
• Between 3 to 5 years of PQE in similar roles.
• Fluent English (C1 recommended).
• Results driven
• Office tools (Excel, Teams, One Drive etc),
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Deep knowledge Business & Corporate Law in Spain.
• Experience in Telecommunication sector will be desirable.
• Experience in managing framework agreements with Telco Clients.
• Ensure effective legal guidance with all areas involved, generating a constructive and positive work environment.
• Ability to build positive and constructive professional relationships, both within the area and with its main Clients and Suppliers.
• Problem solving, data analysis skills.
• Ability to manage legal complex and ambiguous situations.
• High understanding of technological and commercial challenges and innovative solutions.
• Ability to analyse the feasibility of new Legal & Compliance projects and guarantee their implementation.
