Your place in the team
As the Senior IT developer, you will be working with the cloud-based software, implemented on the force.com platform, using Apex, Visualforce and/or Lightning. Utilizing your great communication skills and passion for writing intelligent software using best practices, you will architect and develop new enhancement requests.
You will be working closely with the business analysts, other developers, product owners and the business to ensure that requirements are understood and developed to provide business value whilst maintaining the user and customer at the heart of everything we do.
You will be involved in the following tasks
• Accountable for understanding the business and technical requirements and developing new features, functionalities, and enhancements to new and existing platforms
• Develop and manage well-functioning applications, components and integrations with other systems
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Build web services that interact with force.com
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
• Write technical and user documentation
• Work with analysts to improve software
• Implement best practices and utilize them to train and mentor other developers and team members
We are looking for you if you have
• Engineering degree (Bachelor / Master) in Computer Science or Business Administration with IT background
• At least 5 years of software development experience in IT
• Salesforce Developer Certifications (i.e. SF Admin, SF Developer 1&2, Platform)
• Experience with web development and integration using technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, REST, JSON and XML
• Work with LWC, Aura, jQuery or any other JavaScript libraries
• Contribute know-how of advanced system administration and configuration (Objects, Reports, Dashboards, Approval Processes, Workflow Rules, Security and Permissions)
• Strong customer and business orientation, putting customer & business value first
• At least 5+ years’ experience as a Developer/Software Engineer in the Salesforce environment in distributed organisations and in an international environment
• Provide extensive custom development experience on force.com platform, working with Apex classes, triggers, components, Visual Force pages, SOQL, MuleSoft, jQuery and JavaScript
• A solid comprehension of Computer Science with coding experience
• Strong communication skills, team player and strong attention to detail
• Practical experience in Agile software development methodologies, ideally underpinned by certifications
• Excellent knowledge in Agile collaboration tool portfolio (i.e. Jira, Confluence a.o.)
• Strong communication and stakeholder influencing skills. High degree of self-initiative and independent way of working
• Excellent command of English, both verbally and written
