Role Purpose Are you experienced as a Telecom site designer? Do you have an extensive knowledge in the field of civil engineering as well as in designing telecommunications systems and telecommunications infrastructure sites? Join our team as Senior Expert Infrastructure Design (m/f/d) and manage the infrastructure development of Vantage Towers in the different Vantage Towers markets. In your role, you manage and drive projects to standardize and modernize the infrastructure at the Vantage Towers sites working in an international environment and together with the local markets.Ideal Background
- A successful university degree with focus on Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar
- Fluent English skills, written and spoken (C1 according to CEFR)
- High flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Very good communication and information skills
- Planning, organisational and decision-making skills
- Prioritising tasks in General and to actual dependencies
- Very good knowledge of the processes and workflows in the field of deployment and in the related specialist areas
- Very good knowledge of professional project management
- Good PC skills and knowledge of basic user programs (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- In-depth knowledge of the market environment, current legal and technological developments
- At least 10 years of experience and broad knowledge in mobile telecom technologies and deployment
- Mandatory strength: Structural analysis, tower design, rooftop, wall-mounting, collocation, modernization projects, design of rooftops
- Deep knowledge: Mast, modeling, Mast loading and capacity, site layout, structural drawings, DIN, Modular Mast design, antenna , flexible arrangement , mounting and bracket design.
- Infrastructure modernization, wind load reduction and optimization, consolidation, structural design capacity optimization, collocation, antenna sharing, tilt, azimuth, structural members
- Knowledgeable on different telecom Mast solutions: Rooftop, monopole, self-support, utility pole, camouflage, wall mounting, tree tower, billboards, water tanks, street furniture, small cells pole, lamp post, tower shields, IBS, DAS and o-DAS.
- Very good knowledge of processes and workflows in the field of deployment and in related specialist areas
- Independent, reliable and systematic way of working
- Result- and target-oriented approach
- Broad knowledge of structural engineering
