Your contribution:
- Provide legal guidance and advice to internal teams on regulatory matters, specifically on laws and regulations related to radio tower infrastructure and adjacent sectors.
- You identify, build and maintain Vantage Towers’ relationships with relevant institutions, e.g. the Federal Network Agency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to new infrastructure projects.
- Support Vantage Towers’ strategy on funding in particular of mobile network infrastructure (e.g. 5G corridors).
- As a member of the German Regulatory & Public Affairs Team you work with Head of Regulatory & Public Affairs Germany as well as Director External Affairs, Head of EU Affairs, Chief Economist and the Legal team to help develop, and then execute regulatory positions and engagement strategies.
What makes you stand out:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in telecommunications law or laws concerning another regulated industry (e.g. railway or energy sector)
- Successfully completed law studies with two state examinations
- Extensive and successful breadth and depth of experience of dealing with public institutions, regulators and industry associations
- Excellent influencing skills and capacity to inspire confidence, as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels
- Strong managing of relationships with officials and regulators
- Fluent German (C1) and (very) good English (B2) skills written and spoken
